What is offered
Assessment, clarification and support
Assessment and rehabilitation for adults and children presenting with a range of neurological, cognitive and psychological concerns, always interpreted in the context of the whole person.
- 01
Neuropsychological assessment
A detailed picture of how you are functioning across different areas of cognition, using standardised measures interpreted in the context of your history, your medical background and your circumstances.
- Comprehensive cognitive testing
- Interpretation against normative data
- Written summary of findings
- 02
Cognitive profiling
Relative strengths mapped alongside areas of difficulty, so that support is built around how a person actually thinks and works rather than around a diagnosis alone.
- Strengths and difficulties mapped
- Practical day-to-day implications
- Guidance for work or study
- 03
Diagnostic clarification
Where the picture is unclear, assessment can help distinguish between conditions that present similarly, and can inform the decisions of the team already treating you.
- Differential considerations
- Input to the treating team
- Baseline for future comparison
- 04
Cognitive rehabilitation
Structured, goal-directed work on cognitive difficulties, including compensatory strategies matched to your routines, your environment and the demands you actually face.
- Goal-directed sessions
- Compensatory strategies
- Progress reviewed over time
- 05
Reports and recommendations
A full neuropsychological report can be provided on request, written to be understandable and useful to you, to your family and to the other professionals involved in your care.
- Plain-language findings
- Actionable recommendations
- Available on request
- 06
Family and caregiver support
Cognitive change affects the people around a person as much as the person themselves. Sessions help families understand what is happening, why, and how best to respond.
- Understanding the diagnosis
- Practical support strategies
- Space for carers' own questions
How the work is structured
The assessment pathway
An initial consultation, the assessment itself, and a feedback session. Each runs one hour, with a two hour double session available where fewer visits would suit you better.
Not sure which service you need?
Most people start with an initial consultation. It is where we work out together what would actually be useful, and nothing is committed to beyond that first session.
