This website is operated by Sameenah Rawoot, a clinical neuropsychologist practising in Milnerton, Cape Town. For any question about how your personal information is handled, please contact the practice on 086 782 0888 or at [email protected].

If you send an enquiry through the contact form, the practice receives your name, your email address, your telephone number if you provide one, and the content of your message.

Booking is handled by RecoMed, an independent booking provider. Selecting Book on this site takes you to RecoMed, where any information you enter is collected and processed under their own privacy terms and shared with this practice so that your appointment can be confirmed.

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Information submitted through this website is used only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and confirm appointments, and to keep the records that a health practitioner is required to keep.

Please do not send sensitive medical information through the contact form. Clinical information is discussed and recorded in consultation, where it can be properly protected.

Consultations are confidential. Clinical records are kept securely and are handled in line with the requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.

Information about you is shared with other treating professionals only with your consent, or in the limited circumstances where the law requires or permits disclosure, such as where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm.

Clinical records are retained for the period required of health practitioners in South Africa. Website enquiries that do not become consultations are kept only for as long as is needed to deal with the enquiry.

You are entitled to ask what personal information the practice holds about you, to ask that inaccurate information be corrected, and to object to certain processing. Requests of this kind can be made using the contact details above, and will be dealt with in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act.

If you believe your information has been mishandled, you may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
